case study

We’ve supported many engineering and manufacturing businesses claim for R&D funding. Below is an example of one of our many success stories:

A window manufacturer was at risk of falling behind competitors unless they rapidly modernised all their processes from sales, manufacturing to installation and after sales. The challenge was to move from an outdated legacy system to a fully integrated cloud based system without the in-house IT skills and without disrupting business.

An ‘off the shelf’ ERP system was bought and fully customised for the window manufactures unique requirements. The in-house team and external IT contractors developed a cloud based system linked to an app that seamlessly integrated and tracked every step from manufacturing to fitting windows.

The project was eligible for R&D tax credits. The management team brought in ammu who submitted a substantial claim to HMRC based on the project. They received a six figue sum over a three year period which has been earmarked for new product development and to sustain cashflow.
